Sunshine and Rainbows..

Today was a really good day. I woke up feeling much better than yesterday. My body is getting used to the new meds, and my sunburn is fading pretty quickly. It honestly seems kind of weird to see my face and arms with a little bit of color on them. It's nice!

We didn't do much with our day, but we have no complaints. We had some leftover ice cream cake for dinner, and took a nice walk to feel better about it afterward. We watched a couple episodes of House this afternoon. We went to walmart to find Wayne an economical birthday present. Reece Cups and Pistachios. His birthday is the day after tomorrow, and while we couldn't afford anything big for him.. we wanted to let him know we appreciated him on his special day, (and every day).

I rummaged around the house for a few more things for the yard sale. I didn't get them priced yet, but I'm sure Mom and I will get them finished within the next few days. The folks were busy at a karaoke event tonight. Apparently, someone lost a family member, and while everyone was in town.. they decided they wanted to get together and.. sing? I don't really get it, but as long as they're happy, I'm happy.

Tonight, Dave and I watched an older movie we had lying around the house. I honestly can't tell you where it came from, but we needed something to do, so we watched it, and happily. It was called Captivity, and it wasn't half bad. It reminded me a lot of the SAW series. I regret that we're up so late about now though. I always stay up too late on Saturday nights, and then I'm sleepy for church. I better get going and get Dave and I into bed at a decent hour. Thank You for joining us tonight, and until next time..
