Love, Like a Zombie..

Dave was completely wiped out today. He got plenty of sleep, we didn't get to bed too late. I couldn't think of a single reason he would be so devoid of energy, but he had absolutely no ambition for anything today. He got out of bed for a bowl of cereal with me this morning, but then went straight back to the comfort of our borrowed bed. That's where he stayed the remainder of the day. It wasn't really until six o'clock this evening that I managed to keep him upright for more than a few minutes at a time. He's had trouble speaking, he's been sluggish and a veritable zombie ever since. I hate when he has to suffer like this, especially when it seems like there's just nothing to be done about it.

Dave wouldn't let me leave him.. not that I had anywhere to be anyway.. but it definitely made for a boring day. I watched him sleep for way too long, and spent the rest of the afternoon messing around on the computer, sticking pretty close a few feet from the bed in case he needed me for anything. It's just been one of those no-news kind of days, and aside from dinner with the family and some reality TV.. I've got nothing for you.
