My Fear Itself.. |
|
Today has pretty much been a repeat of yesterday. We've been entertaining Denis, Debbie, and Harvey, and catching up with old friends. Dave and I have hid out in our bedroom with Dinky, trying to keep him semi-calm under the new arrangements. Mom made everyone a great breakfast this morning, and spent the afternoon teaching Debbie how to crochet. She's bored in the truck quite a lot during load and unload times, and swears she needs a new hobby. She wants to start making baby blankets to donate to the nursery in a hospital close to where they live in Missouri. She's picking it up pretty quick.. and I was shocked how much of it I still remembered from when Mom taught me when I was nine. |

Dave and I watched a TV show online tonight. It's a new one we started watching called Fear Itself. It royally freaked me out tonight. It's only episode three, but the beginning starts out with a man driving to work, and he's on the phone with his wife, and the light turns green, and he drives through. A big pick up truck runs the red light and smashes in to him, and the phone falls in a pool of blood and his wife is screaming at him trying to find out what's happened. I haven't been quite right since. I didn't need another visual to go along with the one that still replays nightly in my dreams. The rest of the episode wasn't at all the same as the last year for Dave and I, but the beginning was enough for me. |

The folks took their guests out for karaoke tonight, and the fur-siblings are absolutely thrilled that Harvey is sleeping out the truck, (the air conditioned, diesel home with a bed and water bowl and food that he's used to every other day. I just want to slip that in, because I definitely don't need anyone calling The Humane Society because I'm a dog abuser now). I know we have some pretty serious animal lovers reading out there, just like me. |

What a horse. (An Adorable horsie though, to be sure)! |

Dave's working on speech therapy homework tonight, and I'm off to play a couple quick computer games now that I have a little free time to do so. Thank You all SO much for joining us this evening, and until next time, Much Love, Many Hugs, and Good Night to You All. |
