Reality TV Marathon Mania..

Dave and I spent the morning working on more speech homework. We had Mom make us yet another karaoke CD for Dave to practice with. Ever since Elaine learned that my mother was the queen of karaoke, she's gotten a lot more varied with her song selections. We've definitely come a long way from I'm A Little Teapot, that's for sure, lol. This week everyone drew a blank for song choice, so I got to pick. I chose a song that I love by Michael Buble called, A Foggy Day. I think Dave will be great at that one. Lord knows I played it enough times while he was in a coma. He should already know it by heart.

Dave got it in his head today that if he took a brisk walk around the block he would be able to increase his lung capacity, and therefore, be able to talk instantly better. We took that walk, and he when he wasn't talking any better when we got home, he was disappointed, and took a nap. I never know what random certainty he'll come up with next, so there's never dull moment around here. I spent the down time playing yooyuball on neopets and catching up to my teammates since I finally had a little free time.

When Dave woke up and Wayne got home from work we all sat down for dinner and caught up on all the TV we've missed lately. With the folks out of the house ALL the time, and the DVR constantly recording all the shows we're interested in.. we get behind pretty quickly. For the rest of the evening we watched last week's So You Think You Can Dance, and the results show, America's Got Talent from two weeks, and the newest Nashville Star. It was way too much to watch all at once, but they insisted we watch it. The sat down and started rolling, (and when they watch it, the shows promptly get deleted after that, so it's watch it now, or miss out). The folks and the fur-siblings have gone off to bed now. Dave is in the shower, and I'm headed that way next myself.
