The folks are home again. They rambled on about their exciting trip for most of the afternoon, which was adorable. They got back-stage passes, and took a lot of great pictures of Kenny Chesney, Rodney, and Wayne on stage in uniform while Rodney sang his signature song, "I'm Coming Home." Apparently, everyone was in tears, and the song had a big impact on the crowd, which, I can imagine. It's an amazing song.
I've been baking most of tonight away. I have a favor owed to a dear friend and promised her cookies for her party coming up, and I'll be working on those most of this week. I mixed up the icing and dough last night, baked tonight, and I'll start icing tomorrow. It's been awhile since I've fallen into this routine, but it's always nice to create something from beginning to end and watch something take shape. I haven't had much time for anything else tonight, but Dave's been keeping me company in the kitchen while he works on his speech therapy exercises.
We don't have much else planned for tonight, but thank you for joining us. Until next time, Much Love, Many Hugs, and Good Night to You All.
